I wanted to up load this video but somehow I do not have the ability (or the patience) to try again.
This is a video of the Flood in the Red River Valley, specifically, Fargo, N.D.
As you look at it, pray for the people who are broken, tired, and are aware that the end is still not in sight. A blizzard is raging through this region now which brings snow and wind.
As this crisis is over and the news coverage stops, there will be a continued need to pray for the individuals that have lost so much. Those who have literally a ton of clean up to do.
The same volunteers who are sleep deprived will be the volunteers to haul the sand bags away from the river.
God is faithful. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.
Praise Him for His faithfulness in providing support, love, and energy to continue for many of these people.

Probably the only thing worse than a flood is a freezing flood. I can't imagine what it must be like to fight under those conditions. But by golly I'm proud of those people, and really proud to be a Dakotian. I have yet to see a picture or video of some hankie wringing Dakotian wondering when FEMA is going to come save them. When the chips are down-these people grab the old bootstraps, pull, and git'er done. The Dakotas really are where a man stands tall!
